1574 Bryan: A Political Biography of William Jennings Bryan, by Louis W. Koenig (read 15 June 1980) This is not a well-written book, but the subject matter made it absorbing reading nonetheless. Bryan was born 19 March 1860 at Salem, Ill., and died 26 July 1925 in Tennessee. The book is pretty sympathetic but not unqualifiedly so. It did not change my attitude to Bryan--which is mixed.
