Reviews
Osundare beautifully encapsulates teh emotional upheaval and poignant optimism of post colonial Africa. Through the use of free verse style poetry and poignant symbolism, Osundare's poetry is only outshone by his uncompromising humanism. From beginning to end, Waiting Laughters encapsulates the peaks and valleys of the African emotional state, and leaves the reader refreshed yet quietly humbled by the power of the written word.
