Joan De La Haye

I enjoyed this short story. It's lighthearted despite the content, and a welcome change from some of the sugary sweet festive-themed works around (not that I really have anything against those). Worth reading when you have a break at this time of year.

This is a psychological horror with dark actions committed by the characters. However, it's a difficult story to get into since there are various characters introduced and the perspectives change.

I initially liked the setup, but not the drawn out explanation or execution of the story. The action scenes and the pacing of the story just felt awkward to me.

A horror story, the book is difficult to follow and get into; there are various perspectives with pronouns used instead of names.
