Raven Storm

I don't even know where to start with this one, I loved it so much! First, let's talk about Bailey. She's strong, independent, and has some scars in her past that make it hard for her to trust. Despite that, she can't help but want to protect those around her. I fell in love with her right at the start. I loved Derrick and his mom, they've had rough times in their pasts, but they care so much about the people around them. The chemistry between Derrick and Bailey is absolutely undeniable, and show more I loved their banter. The level at which I loathe certain characters in this book, (and trust me, you'll hate them too when you meet them), is astounding. I didn't know I could hate anyone in a book so much. My only complaint is the way the book ended - I don't want to wait for book 2!!! show less

The secret surrounding Zephyr is a big one. It leaves him with only a few people who he can call allies. There is Vession, and Shava, a mud girl. Shava may be a mud girl, but she is strong. She can kick some butt. She is someone that I would want on my side.

When Zephyr learns of his heritage and why the queen has it out for him, this only fuels Zephyr to seek vengeance. The queen should be scared as Zephyr has a powerful friend that she did not expect.

This is my first introduction to Raven show more and this series. I was able to jump right into this book with no issues having not read any of the prior books. Instantly, I was captivated by the story and Zephyr. I connected with Zephyr, Shava, and all of the characters. The story is rich, and I could envision everything as it played out in my head. I definitely will be going back and checking out the prior books as well as continuing this series. show less

WHAT DOES A VAMPIRE, A WARLOCK, AND A LYCAN HAVE IN COMMON? A FORTY YEAR OLD VIRGIN WITCH! I loved that Aggie took her life in HER hands and ran across the pond to a cottage because her mom sold her to an Incubus when he offer eleven million dollars if she married him and their Coven would benefit from the money. I liked Karl, the hot Vampire, Lucas, the Lycan, and Quinn the Warlock as they all loved her, and wanted to protect from Seth!! I did not like Aggie's mom nor their coven for using show more that, but I hated the cliff hanger. show less

This isn't one of those books that dumps a lot of information. Everything you read & told has a reason! The character & world building in here are pretty good too! I did find the book a little predictable but I did NOT see the ending to be the way it was! So that was a nice twist & cliffhanger! The pacing was also pretty good! Over all it was a pretty good book! If you like Jaymin Eve, Kelly St. Clare, or Leia Stone then this book is just for you!
