I Remember King Kong (the Boxer) by Denis Hirson

God I love this book -- it was sent to me as a gift from South Africa, since then I have bought 5 copies to give as gifts to other ex-pat South Africans of my vintage. Is it a book, or a long poem? who cares! it is brilliant. I defy anyone who grew up in South Africa in the 50s/60s not to be totally overwhelmed by nostalgia when reading this...must stop, my keyboard is becoming soggy and waterlogged.
