Summary: This book starts with a basic explanation of a shuttle. It then tells a lot of details about a space shuttle. For example, the length, wingspan,and picture of what the inside looks like. It explains preparation and take-off. It gives information about the astronauts and what it is like to live on board. It ends with an explanation of the shuttle landing.
Personal Reaction: This book is very informational, but sort of dry unless you are really interested in the subject.
Classroom show more Extension: Can be used in a science lesson when you are teaching of outer space. Would be perfect for a time that there is some kind of space exploration going on. show less
