Started out nicely, but it did get redundant as the Singaporeans really got heavily into blatant egotism. There was a lot of interesting trivia (e.g., the inventor of the thumb drive was from Singapore) and I actually learned a lot about the city-state. I picked it up on my visa run from Indonesia when I went to the Art Science Museum. That was a waste of space,but they had several good books there. I must also add that my time in Singapore was quite enjoyable and was the reason for my show more getting this book. Overall, twas a good buy....I'm much more knowledgable than before.... show less
