Fascinating book from four hundred years ago; a tale of an enlightened father raising an enlightened daughter who challenges the notions of male supremacy and omnipotence. Tried for being a witch; yet as she argues cogently her own defence she knows full well in so doing she is signing her own death warrant - plus ca change, plus c'est la meme chose.....
Sidonia the Sorceress, Volume I of II by Wilhelm Meinhold, Fiction, Literary, Fairy Tales, Folk Tales, Legends & Mythology: 1 by Wilhelm Meinhold
