This is a collection of essays, poems, and general thoughts about the events surrounding the reaction to the verdict on the police officers who beat Rodney King. It's somewhat dated, yet in a larger sense still with us as I think some of the problems (poverty, racism, police force training/reactions) have yet to be resolved. The writing quality varies as do the opinions expressed.
