Covers the techniques accurately, has some helpful tips, pictures are clear and attractive. The author and I may not share tastes, didn't really love the look of some of the projects. The cheerleading, come on in its easy tone is probably right for an introductory book but I really wanted a couple of more aspirational projects too just to have something to shoot for. But its a good book.
Uniquely felt : dozens of techniques from fulling and shaping to nuno and cobweb : includes 46 creative projects by Christine White
This is detailed and goes into how to do many of the different techniques and methods involved in all sorts of different felting techniques. It's well illustrated and informative, a book to return to if I ever want to try the techniques.
If you want an all-encompassing book, from history to contemporary gallery of some current felting artists, you must have this book. It is in the same all-enclusive class as the Beverly Gordon and Gunilla Sjoberg/Pat Spark books. It's the one that's currently in print.
This book is the best felting book I've read so far! It has a lot of really great projects.
