Not usually my genre of choice but how can one resist a Roald Dahl book. James and his horrible wretched aunts! Loved his adventure with his new "friends" who just happen to be huge bugs!

Pretty typical for a 80s/90s Disney film, but that's not a bad thing. What I remember most about this was the beautiful animation.

It has some charming moments, but never enough to pull me in. A lot of it is perfunctory and boring.
