Joseph Lstiburek

Mixed Climates is appropriate for construction in my part of the world, the San Francisco Bay Area. I relied on it when building the house whose design and construction is chronicled in my own book, Crafting the Considerate House. However, Lstiburek also publishes guides for building in cold and humid climates. His books are invaluable for their clear illustrations and explanations of such critical components of new buildings as framing systems, thermal boundaries, and vapor management.
