Very good! Very graphic, so be prepared, but don't let that stop you from reading the book. The stories of forgiveness are moving, and the thoughts written by the author in between each story are as important. The information in this book can help anyone struggling with forgiveness, no matter the degree.

NCLA Review - This book is not for the faint of heart, the author warns. Yet to pass it by is to miss an account of some of God’s most astonishing miracles. I’ve read and heard elsewhere that the reconciliation in Rwanda is a veneer over hatred that still bubbles beneath the surface. Perhaps for some that is true. But those—and they are many—who faced the bitter truth and enormity of their crime or their loss, and chose the path of forgiveness, now lead lives filled with peace, purpose, and joy. Larson traveled to Rwanda and “waded through the grief” of those whose stories she tells. Between the personal histories she inserts “Interludes,” of reflection on forgiveness and justice, and reminders that forgiveness—given and received—is a necessary part of all Christians’ lives. She includes practical helps such as contact information for helping agencies and, for victims and offenders, separate outlines of steps that can lead to healing. Beautifully written and inspirational, this book taps the Power that truly transforms. Rating: 4 —DKW… (more)
