I loved this! Not a literary masterpiece perhaps, but it is pure entertainment. It really did make me burst out laughing more than once. I enjoyed the author's fast-paced writing style that made me want to keep reading until the very end. And, as a reader who prefers clean romance, this was perfect—no sex at all, just an easy, fun read. Looking forward to more!

My only critique is in regards to the handful of instances where the dialogue made the main characters seem juvenile. I cannot imagine a mature CEO, even a young one, saying, "I think they expect us to make out." Another example is when the otherwise witty female character says, "He still talks to her and stuff."… (more)

Nara was a spoiled brat at the beginning but her character grew throughout. Don't give up on her too quick.

Cute and sweet. A very tame little romance about a pair who enter into an arranged marriage. Nara’s father wants to retire and leave his successful company to Derek while at the same time making sure Nara is still cared for. So he insists they get married. And he uses tough love and a bit of emotional blackmail to convince Nara to marry Derek. Derek was already secretly in love with Nara so he needed no convincing. The father even insists on them going on a romantic honeymoon. On their honeymoon, Nora’s starts to see that maybe Derek is more than she originally thought. And she starts to get feelings for him. But, in a turn of events, the father comes to his senses and realizes he should not have done what he did and releases them both from the agreement. Nara is free to go back to her old life. But the whole time she wonders if it’s what she still wants. Derek let’s her go because he’s too afraid to admit the truth. In the end, they have a cute reunion and get their happily ever after. Which makes this book all that much sweeter.… (more)

Another one that’s cute and sweet.

Danica is stranded at the billionaire club after her father cuts her off, forcing her to get any job she can to try to earn money to make her way back home. She meets a famous football player named Austin who is recovering from an injury and doesn’t realize who he is. She thinks he’s a maintenance man. And he lets her believe it, not wanting to deal with anyone who’s only with him because he’s famous. The two spend a lot of time together and he realizes she’s not just some stupid socialite and he starts to fall for her. She was hurt by an ex and has a hard time trusting him even though she wants to be with him. But what happens when her father finally agrees to let her come back home? What happens when she’s finally free to be with Austin but no longer wants to live life in the limelight?

This is a cute story of these two people just having some time away from it all And falling for each other. Austin shows Danica that she has a lot more going for her and she thinks it helps her to believe in herself when her father never seem to believe in her. She’s a better person when she’s finally ready for her happily ever after.
