Short biography
André Linke is a pen name of Carina Regauer, born Carina Linke in Neumünster, Germany. She is a great-grand-niece of writer Lilo Linke and the sister of Christian Linke, former Panik bass player and co-creator of the adult animated TV series Arcane. She graduated from high school in Neumünster in 2004 and then trained as a media designer in Hamburg. She studied literature and history from 2012 to 2018 (master of arts degree). Inspired by the Japanese manga series Sailor Moon, she began writing anime fan fiction in the late 1990s. For her Crystal Yorkshire science fiction book series for children, Linke was nominated twice for the German Fantasy Prize (Deutschen Phantastik Preis). In late 2013, she began writing fiction for teenagers and young adults that addressed Japanese culture under the gender-neutral pseudonym An Lin. Since 2017, she has been publishing contemporary romance novels under the pen name C.R. Scott. Scott's debut novel Play My Game (2017) made it into the top 10 on the Kindle charts. In March 2019, her work Broke and Rich made it onto the BILD bestseller list for the first time. In January 2020, the author's Waking Up in Mr. Perfect's Bed debuted at number 1 on Amazon's fiction charts. Numerous works by this author also are available as audio books and have been translated into Spanish, Italian, French, and English. Under her real name, Carina Regauer also has worked as a graphic designer and author for the publishing house Bast Medien GmbH. She has acted as art director for the magazine Women's History, for which she also wrote various articles and was involved in the photo editing.

Ich habe das Lesen abgebrochen, denn ich konnte es nicht ertragen. Es fehlte eindeutig ein Lektor:
* Jeder Satz enthält gefühlte 5 Bindestriche.
* Es gibt die Redewendung "reden wie gedruckt", auf dieses Buch passt das Gegenteil "gedruckt wie die Leute reden", die ungenaue Formulierweise nervte mich sehr, Dialoge ziehen sich hin
* Witze werden wiederholt.
* In Dialogen war mir manchmal unklar wer gerade redet.
* Es schien mir fast wie ein Buch für jüngere Teenager

Positiv:
Manches war es witzig.
Lustig geschrieben; sehr eigenwilliger, ungewöhnlicher Stil. Enthält Gesellschaftskritik, Philosophie, Satire, Humor, Non-Sense, aber auch Abenteuer, angedeutete Erotik, Gefühle und mehr. Eine witzige Science-Fiction-Satire für unterhaltsame Abende. Allerdings mehr was für Jugendliche!
