Wow. Did not see that coming...

I was one of those lucky readers who got a taste of this book long before it came out, and I've spent over a year WAITING to read the rest. Talk about a ride! The twists were totally unexpected (other than the romantic elements--which were epic!), the story's mythology mind-blowing, and the tension, oh the tension...

I'm still reeling over one aspect: Traitor. Seriously? Traitor?

I guess the aspect I loved the most was how the romantic plot line developed. Too show more many young adult books build unreal expectations based on physical attraction. This one really focused on where true love stems, and for that I love it double.

This is a clean read, although there are tense situations (including battles) and teen hormones (obviously). Definitely recommended. show less
