A tale of office intrigue. Two men are in business together, a small mail order business started by Donald, who takes on ex-military proper, friendly fellow, Mac as salesman and partner. Only two single women work in the office, blonds Aileen and Caroline. Lovely Caroline has a history of romances, with a very possessive ill-tempered brother who tends to beat people up. Aileen falls for Mac, who does pay attention to her, and she's expecting marriage. Caroline is found dead, stabbed in her show more apartment. The crime is attempted to be understood and solved with both the local police and Dr. Jean Montrose, who is familiar with the victims and many of the suspects... apparently her training and experience help her see more possibilities than the police. More deaths follow... including their strongest suspect. Slowly all the characters go thru the search for the truth... and Jean will see it all clearly first. show less
