Starts off a little choppy, but got stronger as it went along. Friend of mine runs the press, and I think this is close to their first novel, rather than collection of short stories.

I was reluctantly charmed, and then I was charmed, not-reluctantly. Grave's ending was perfect.

I couldn't help it, I was curious, and I just had to read the sequel. Even though I lamented the first one because it was short and it had instalove and the development (?), I wanted to know what happens after.

I knew there was a glitch somewhere to that relationship, what with falling in love so suddenly with someone you hardly know. Trust issues, man.

Though I'm glad that book two explored that; deadly, but there's that.

It was short.

I mean it's good that there were no meandering (even the supposed mystery was so the guy could get close to the girl), but, hey, development?
