Gunhild is trying to prevent Ragnarok, i.e. The Great Battle and subsequent perishing of the Gods and the End of the World, with the help of Loki, trickster god par excellence of Old Norse mythology.
The art style of this graphic novel is pretty impressing, clearly Manga-inspired yet conveying the Old Norse/Germanic mythology perfectly. I found the storytelling to be confusing at times, however, this is a cool addition to the superheroes/myth retelling graphic novel universe.
