Compelling text along with captivating photos and postcards give a historical overview of Florida, a vacation destination before Disney World. Anecdotes from archives and interviews bring to light the horrid picture of discrimination in the USA—not only in leisure venues show more but also in everyday customs. With specific examples, the authors help us realize how racism is deeply rooted in our culture. show less
