Female Sleuths

This group has become officially dormant. It happens. If you want to revive this group, or create a new group on the same topic see this page.

This group focuses on sharing the books in which woman (with maybe some help from their animal friends) not only solve mysteries, but also get us interested in their personal lives. An example would be Temple Barr (Midnight Louie books) whose life is as interesting as the murders she solves. Harry (Sneaky Pie Brown books) is another we learn more about as each new book appears. Other examples would be the Regan Reilly Mysteries and the Mary Helen Mysteries by Sister Carol Anne O'Marie. All of these series have well developed characters that continue from book to book to grow and change.
