Advertisement text: "To be SOLD by public vendue, by the subscribers, executrix and executor of the last will and testament of the Rev. JOHN GEORGE ALSENTZ, late of Germantown, deceased, on Wednesday, the 6th day of April next, at two o'clock in the afternoon, on the premises; the house and lot where the said Mr. Alsentz lately dwelt, ....
Likewise to be sold in the same manner, and at the time and place aforesaid, the remaining part of the said Mr. Alsentz's library, containing a valuable collection of books of sundry good authors, and in divers languages, viz. High and Low Dutch, English, Latin, and the oriental languages; as also sundry articles of houshold furniture, &c. ... [A note follows to the effect that buyers at a previous sale, held 16 December 1767, should pay up by 16 April]. BARBARA ALSENTZ, Executrix, JACOB ENGLE, Executor."
