DescriptionsEdit Descriptions
- 'Varoom' is the Association of Illustrators' magazine (2006-date). The title is presumably inspired by Roy Lichtenstein's pop art paintings 'Varoom!' (1963) and 'Varoom' (1965) (see e.g. Wikipedia: Varoom!). Consistency of dating is not one of the title's strong points; perhaps the content is thought to be timeless. Issues no's 1-15 (2006-2010) are A4 perfect-bound all-colour volumes. No's 16-34 (Autumn 2011-Autumn 2016) are a newspaper format and paper, slightly smaller than A3 size, with b&w and colour newsprint pages throughout, perhaps theoretically quarterly, but in practice not quite so regular. Since no. 35 (2017) the format has been an initially biannual A5 perfect-bound matt paper colour booklet. (English, Unclassified)
