In an unspecified time and place, wolves are supposively extinct or so the humans say. What the humans do not know is that a few wolves are left, taking the forms of humans to blend in and survive. Kiba, the protagonist of the story is an arctic wolf in search of paradise, a place that only wolves may enter. He later meets up with Hige, Toboe and Tsume to form a small but odd pack that goes off in search of Cheza, the flower maiden, who is the one that will be able to lead them to paradise. They battle against humans, wolves and mother nature herself in search for paradise. (English, Unclassified)
