I just listed my copy of the Koran and listed Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah as the other. LT is now telling me that I have the only copy of the Koran. How do I combine it with other copies that don't list an author or have it labeled anonymous?

Nevermind. I got it.

Did you get it? How? I have a copy of the Koran that I've listed with no author and it's not showing any users that share it.

Try clicking on the title to take you to the work page, click on "debris" on the left menu. Near the bottom should be a section titled "Potential work combinations" where you should be able to combine it with other copies. That's how I did it.

#3: if that doesn't work, look at the listing with the most books & see what "author" is listed.

Then change your copy to "match" that "author" (this will be temporary).

If your copy doesn't automatically connect/combine with the others, then combine via the "author" page.

Once you have combined it, then change the author to whatever you choose it to be.

I would put an "author" there, or an editor, translator, or commentator, since leaving off the author can cause other problems... including making it difficult to combine with other copies.
