The Sydney Conservatorium of Music is a specialist music library with one of the largest music collections in Australia. It has:

+ audio equipment at designated desks for individual listening
+ a Scansnap bookscanner, located near the scores
+ a bookable meeting room with TV and VCR
+ an exhibition space
+ Silent zones

The Conservatorium Library supports the performance, teaching and research needs of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

The Library holds about 100,000 scores, 30,000 books, 12,000 CDs/DVDs, 12,000 vinyl recordings and print/electronic journals. Subject areas covered are Western music, especially from the eighteenth century to the present, as well as jazz and popular music.
