This is a story about memory loss and the baffling frightening experience of retrieving it. There is a startling tragic event that triggers the amnesia, and it is towards this point of discontinuity that the novel proceeds. Excellent reading.
A young man suffering from amnesia is trying to establish his own identity and to recall the events of the past few months which he has completely forgotten. The imagery is lucid, by turns claustrophobic, poignant, and unsettling as the defaulting memories return.All in all a good read.
