Wedding Crasher. Geranimo Stilton. New York: Scholastic Inc., 2000. This is one of the titles in the series called Geranimo Stilton series. It's about a mouse that is a solves mysteries/edits a newspaper. The books is filled with cartoon-like illustrations and colorful font. However the plot is contrived and lacking in originality. The conflict of the story is that the mouse had to visit a cheapskate uncle's castle for a wedding. But it doesn't make the reader connect or feel bad for the mouse. It doesn't have depth to it. But the message is that it is bad to be cheap. The text is simple enough for 1-3rd graders to read. Age group: 7-9 years.
Geronimos trip to a wedding turns out to be a disaster!
