Discover Your Life Purpose with Vedic Astrology

I found this review very challenging, but it also showed me how special this book about Vedic Astrology really is. I can muddle through the usual astrology charts well enough to find my planets in the various houses so when I picked up this book and it's accompanying CD which makes Vedic charts from your info right on the PC I was excited and not to worried. The author's devotion to his subject totally shines throughout this labor of love.
What I found interesting was the ease in which I could use the software to establish my Vedic chart, and then by opening the book and comparing my chart to the sample chart I was able to follow along to some extent. show more There was a lot of well laid out and identified information about the different signs, houses, and planets, and even about the traits and aspects in combination and relation to each other.
This book with it's stories and history did give me a much better understanding of the roots of the Vedic system. I would recommend this insightful reference material to those who have more of an intermediate to expert understanding of the astrological system, but I also feel anyone can benefit from the information in this book. It really left me with a thirst to learn more.
