I think that this is the perfect book for a beginning ukulele player to hone skills and sound kind of accomplished. I know the majority of the songs in this book. It makes it easier to play, because you KNOW what they are suppose to sound like. Also, as a beginner ukelele player, I am still working my way through this book - its has a range of skill levels, from a few chord changes to many chord changes.

There is a wide selection of songs, including patriotic, Christmas, Childrens, and Oldies - My only complaint seems to be that it is heavy with Beatles Songs.

Highly recommended for a beginner Ukelele Player who wants easy songs that are mostly well written (I've found one or two duds), and songs that will be well received by an audience. ( )
