The group of children have traveled north, hoping to reach Washington DC. They find a group of adults living in a shopping mall. Clean clothes, fresh food, adults to take care of them - but something is very wrong, and they need to escape.
I enjoyed this book. I was intrigued by the character development. I would recommend it if it were not for the third book in the series. It was a big let-down to a promising start.
Could not put this one down. Good story pace. The anticipation is tough to get over. Have to keep reading.
Great second book of the series! The adventure and questions they must face continues.
