Finished a one year commitment to finally read the entire Bible. Glad I did it, but not sure I would recommend doing it the way I did. I think reading it with guidance in a thematic way would make more sense. ( )

Bible. What can I say? I've never read it cover to cover, but I've probably read just about all of it at one time or another. This edition is a good translation with fairly extensive exegetic notes. There are notes on the whole bible, on whole segments of it, on each book, and on individual verses. ( )
