I love that this book takes something scary and makes it silly. This book reminds me of Scooby-do, but this time the ghost is real! It would be a good book to use to talk about grammar (dialogue) or one to have the kids interact with while reading (what else could the ghost do?).
A cute story intended for beginning readers. A rained out picnic leads the family to a castle where the children encounter a ghost. When he comes home with them, antics begin.
