Grandparents dying is what the book is about. The story goes over the relationship between grandfather and granddaughter who spend a lot of time together going on nature walks. One day the grandpa dies and the girl walks by herself and reflects on the memories and what her grandpa taught her.Good for one on one.

Ms. Plourde has created a powerful book . A book of separation, living , death and dying. The story breathes life, lives and returns back. She used many beautiful words and the illustrator crafted the perfect muted pictures. There were many spoken words in quotes, which made this book personal. This book has the appearance as if the pictures were laid atop of a p redesigned textured paper. This book is so compassionate and again I state, with loving tender words. ( )

It was probably not the best book for me to read today, but I think it's a good book to help children deal with grief. ( )
