There is mistrust/distance/ miscommunication between Obi and Ani and I like the struggle they have.
I like Yaddle, she was a brave little cookie.
I felt bad for Anakin. That's a heavy burden to believe your visions and actions caused Yaddle's death. Omega didn't help by poisioning his mind and feeding his ego.
and what a twist with Omega being Xanatos's son! so did not see that but explains much about his character. Although I was under the impression Force sensative beings would have Force senative children?
Mawan was a mess. And the stupid Senate was no help. What a bunch of cowards wanting to back out when things got ugly. What kind of gov't gives up on their people like that. No wonder you get overthrown!
v-The planet of Mawan has been decimated by war and resulting chaos. The population has taken refuge underground, while three greedy crime lords battle over food and fuel on the planet’s surface. Only one group has a chance at securing peace—the Jedi.
But what if there’s something even more sinister behind the chaos? What if the planet is really a trap, with many innocent lives held in balance?
What if, in order to save Mawan, a Jedi must die? Who will it be?
Andiken Skywalker was doing his training exercises with his master Obi-Wan Kenobi. They got news that bounty hunters named Omega and Jango Fett were planting bombs at one of the Republic bases. They’d sent them with Jedi masters Yoda and Yaddle. When they got there the ship they were on was shot down, but they survived the crash. They were able to capture Omega, but Jango triggered the bomb that let Omega escape. Everyone was able to escape except for Yaddle who died trying. So the Republic still managed to capture the two bounty hunters.

I like this book because it has a lot of action in it. My favorite part is when they snuck into the base. The worst part was when Yaddle died in the explosion. The scariest part is when their ship show more crashed into the base. My favorite character in the book was Yoda because he caught Omega and was the only one who could. If you read this book, you should read all of it because all the good parts are at the very end. I like this book and you should read it some day. show less
