A charming picture book in which we travel through the year with Brother William, a monk at Westminster Abbey. We learn about his work, his leisure, his meals, his celebrations and his community. There is less of a narrative text, with more emphasis on descriptions and illustrations of various aspects of monastic life. This would be an excellent inclusion in a Catholic home library.
