I loved this book! 5 STARS for this novella! Author Marianne Morea wrote an exciting adult Paranormal Romance story. I loved it from the beginning to the end and I would recommend it to readers looking for that next book from a great writer.

“Hunter’s Blood” had emotion, relationships, action, and sex. I love the lead character, Lily Saburi – our kickass heroine. She was fabulous and sooo badass!! I loved that she was a beautiful and petite woman, but wore her leathers and had her killer weapons. I remember actually thinking that I wanted to go out and buy a leather coat and shitkickers. That is show more just how cool Lily was!! I wouldn’t be able to pull it off like her though since I am not out killing supernaturals, but instead taking care of little kids and reading books, haha!

So, Lily was a psychic; she had visions and could speak telepathically. After her partner in the paranormal investigative business was brutally murdered by a supernatural, Lily made it her mission to avenge her best friend, Terry’s, death. She became a vigilante, murdering any supe that she could find. After tracking Terry’s killer and almost dying herself, she was saved and nursed back to health by a man who was also tracking the same supe at the same time. Turns out, this man is also a supernatural – the Alpha of the Werewolves. Lily learns that not all supernaturals are bad and she even develops relationships with some of them. One of the relationships she built was actually a romantic one with the Alpha – Sean Leighton. Unfortunately, the drama is not all over with the supernaturals, as a member of Sean’s brethren has his own issue with Lily. Regardless of what Lily can offer to the Weres, it is not enough for some people and they want things to change when it comes to Lily. Read “Hunter’s Blood” to find out who has a problem with Lily, why they have an issue with her, and what exactly it is that Lily can offer to the Weres. Also, read it if you want all the other details in between…like the steamy details of Lily and Sean’s relationship.

I loved the romance between Lily and Sean! I ABSOLUTELY loved it. They were so passionate for one another. Even with Lily having a hard time trusting and connecting to people, there was an undeniable connection between her and Sean. I loved watching her learn to grow and to let go. It was truly a wonderful story. On top of all the romance, intimacy, and growth, there was the action as well. Let’s just say, this story was never boring! I would definitely recommend the novella “Hunter’s Blood” by Marianne Morea to adult Paranormal Romance fans looking for their next 5 STAR read!
