This book is for primary aged students. This book tells a story based on the story of the three pigs that uses plastic block shapes--tangrams--to illustrate mathematical concepts. This is a great use of story to make sense of math concepts, and children can use actual tangram pieces to create pictures like in the book! Great math lesson for early to mid elementary.
Introducing tangrams and geometric shapes, young children learn the names of the geometric shapes and see several pictures made from tangrams as part of the story.
