Camp Trouble

Description
Camp Big Tree is not Phoebe's idea of a fun summer vacation. She's sure the lake is filled with sharks, the food is disgusting, and the counselors are as warm and friendly as drill sargeants.Tags

*spoiler alert!*
I *loooooooved* this book!! I admit I thought it was pretty stupid at first.... Phoebe is, let's face it, pretty stupid. I know she's young (second great, I think it was?), but pool sharks? Really? And the way she acts about the horses, and the poison oak... Wow.
But I loooooved the end, with her leading that camper revolt, and all the kids standing up with her in the pond and yelling... That was just *awesome*

I don't know why, but I found this book incredibly silly. Hard to say why. It just really irritated me with its premises and pretty much everything about it. Some time I may re-read it just to figure out it provoked this reaction. But I'm not in any hurry to do so.
