In 2029 Harl was going to leave the Earth as one of space ship crews. His lover, Ellen told him her and her colleagues' plan of telepathic. Harl will come back to the Earth in 2129. So what will happen in the Earth then?
This story is interesting. Although many things in the future are different from now, I think essences of the society don't change. The lessons that this story tell me is important when we study science and use technologies. The idea of Ellen is interesting and their technology is wonderful. But it causes a big disaster and a misfortune. It's because they change the world too quietly. We should use the new technology so carefully.
I haven't wanted telepathic, so I can't understand Ellen. And I don't like the way to appear show more of women in the spaceship. It's too sudden. But what happens for Earth's animals and humans is concrete and understandable. show less
I was a little afraid of the cover of this book, but the content is thrilling and exciting.
A heroine of the story, Ellen, says to want to return to Earth.
But it has passed 100 years in Earth since they leaved Earth.
So her family and friends have already been dead.
However, Ellen and a hero of the story, Harl, decide to return to earth...
The story was deeper than I thought.
This book is a kind of SF. Ellen and Harl are main character of this book. Both of them are scientist. They left the Earth in 2029 and planning return to the Earth in 2129. So that they made ProjectX. Thanks to their experiment, they could return to the Earth but...
I enjoy reading this book. When I saw this book I thought it's a kind of thriller because of the cover, but it wasn't. I was excited reading middle of this book. Because I can't expect what's happen the next.
Harl is a space ship crue. He planned to leave the earth in 2029 and return in 2129. But when he return to the earth, it was strange. There was no people in cities.
In past, I don't like space fantasy because the story is difficult to understand , but Ican enjoy this story. At first, I surprised that Harl leave for 100 years but he only take 8 years. I can't imagine that in this world, but I thought that idea is interesting.
Harl is an astronaut. He left for space in the year 2029 and returned in 2129.The world was not what it used to be at all.
I imagined their world and felt fearful. The power of science is necessary for us now.But if it go too far,I think it will be very dangerous.
This story is started in 2029. The main character, Harl plan to leave Earth as one of astronauts. However, its will be so long time trip. His girlfrend, Elen stopped him. Because she know the world will be changed soon...
This story is a kind of SF stories. I don't like those. But this story is easy to read, and make me exited.
When Harl returned to earth after an interval of eight years, one hundred years passed in the earth and the world changed dramatically.
This story is exciting and horrible.
I think technological advance isn't only good.
After I read this story I thought about the earth of the future.
In 2129, what will happen in the earth?
