I give up. The writing is not bad, but I don't care about any of the characters or what happens to them, so...
The plot and action in this story really drew me in. I went back and forth on forgiving the hero and the ending was exciting. Cheri had it all then lost it all when her grandfather asks her to come home and run newspaper that her old boyfriend J.J. is managing.
