jordantaylor Both books are similar and of equal quality, in my opinion. "House of Windjammer" deals with the tulip trade in 1630's Amsterdam, while "The Coffee Trader" centers around the 1650's coffee trade and general business in Amsterdam. I highly recommend both books.

A YA book that takes place in Amsterdam in 1636. The story revolves around the young heir to the once mighty House of Windjammer and how he saves the family's fortune and reputation after the death of his father. A greedy uncle, an evil banker, and an investment in a tulip all play a part in this exciting tale. A good YA read!
