David Miller has been a journalist since leaving Cambridge University in 1956, covering 16 Summer and Winter Olympic Games. He was in the training squad for the British football team for Melbourne '56, failing to make the 'cut' for the 15 who travelled. He currently writes for the Daily Telegraph
