Belongs to SeriesJoint Association of Classical Teachers' Greek Course (Teaching Guide (1st ed))
The JACT Reading Greek Course has been written for beginners in the upper school, at university and in adult education. Its aim is to enable students to read fifth- and fourth-century Attic Greek, Homer and Herodotus, with some fluency and intelligence in one to two years. The main medium of learning is a continuous, graded Greek text, adapted from original sources. The Teachers' Notes are intended to help teachers at school, at university and in adult education to use the Course to their best advantage. They do not tell the teacher what to do but describe the practice of experienced users of the Course and offer suggestions for tactics to adopt. No library descriptions found. |
