The Pratt Family is showcased in this volume. While taking on massive amounts of Crossed, an iron fisted father clamps his loved ones down with his twisted version of God fearing worship. This was another crazy edition. While you can pretty easily connect the dots, it falls right in line with what I expect from Crossed.
Crossed missed the boat on torture porn gross-out extreme violence genre. Its been done better, and earlier, elsewhere.
This is slightly more compelling than the volume Psychopath that followed it. But overall, the same issues are found here.
(I know they aren't technically zombies. But the series embraces every. single. trope. found in the 'fast zombies' subgenre, so I'm just gonna toss it in with that category.)
