"Cobra warriors, genetically enhanced and implanted with an arsenal of covert weaponry, are the most dangerous guerilla fighters humanity has ever produced. For Jin Moreau Broom, the war is the culmination of a lifetime of Cobra service. But it is also the height of danger for herself and her family as they struggle to survive a war that none of them ever expected to see."--Jacket flap.Tags

The story snores to its inevitable ending. I was bored and glad for the end. The ending might wrap up this particular story line, but it seems more like a middle of a longer series. I'd say 5 or 6 books long.
The only good thing was seeing some of the characters exhibit real character. There were several instances where the character had to give their word and then a situation came up where it made sense to break their word, but they didn't.
I found that encouraging.

The conclusion of Zahn's second Cobra trilogy (Cobra Alliance; Cobra Guardian) features fast-paced battle scenes, military camaraderie, and political maneuvers reminiscent of David Weber's "Honor Harrington" series. Readers of the series and military sf afficionados will enjoy this action-packed space opera.
