This was part of the bitter end Danielle Steel "Golden Age" where her books really were page turners.

Crystal is poor white trash that lucks up on striking a relationship with Spencer. Class differences derails the majority of their relationship, especially after she becomes a singing star and he goes to politics. When she gets pregnant he has a choice to make with no push from him.

This book ran out of steam quick but take it for what it is, a guilty pleasure. The film with Jennie Garth was the last of the good miniseries made of Steel's books. ( )

A good book about being married to the wrong person while in love with someone else. ( )

This was the first book I'd read of her. It was such a great story of tragedy and triumph. It took you through the life of a young woman who suffered so much and for a long time. I love the way the story was told and it remains a terrific book to me. ( )
