I know that Ms. Michaels has quite the fan base. I've read several of her novels. However, I just can't warm up to her writing style. Her characters are so over the top with unbelievable dialogue and actions, that I just can't warm up to any of her story plots. I drudged through this novel, just to see how it ended. The ending has the main character heading "home". Definitely leaving room for the next in this trilogy. Due to the ridiculous actions and dialogue of the characters, I just can't see myself reading another one of Fern Michaels' novels.
Well I actually read this series (Kentucky, Texas, Vegas) out of order, but what a wonderful series.
