Even if you do know the proper mathematical formulation of general relativity, this little book gives a very cute mechanism that accurately presents some interesting results of the theory in a very simple layman's fashion. Great read.
Käännös aiheuttaa ymmärrysvaikeuksia. "Näennäisaika" ja muut "näennäis-" alkuiset termit saattavat ulkomaaksi olla "quasi", "pseudo", "virtual", "apparent" tai jotakin muuta; jokaisella näillä on oma merkityksensä. Niin anglismi kuin se onkin, olisin nähnyt mielummin käytettävän termiä "apparenttiaika" tms jos sitä tarkoitetaan.
Tekstissä on enemmän latomavirheitä kuin olen Art Housella tottunut näkemään. Tämäkin hidastaa ymmärtämistä.
Kirja on professorimaisista huumorin yrityksistä huolimatta junnaavan kuiva.
