Really sucked me in. I didn't guess the murderer until the reveal.

This was Catherine Coutler's first contemporary suspense novel written in 1988.

Meet Elizabeth Carleton, a fascinating woman who is not only a famous concert pianist, but is also married to a wealthy international business tycoon, Timothy Carleton. She is the envy of all until her perfect life falls apart literally in a heartbeat; Timothy Carleton is stabbed in the chest with an ice pick and Elizabeth is accused of his murder.
Too many characters introduced too fast and way too easy to determine the villain. She's done better books.
Did not finish book. Stopped at 17%.
I couldn’t get into it. A bit too much of a mystery - I want to be a bit more in the heroines’s head.
Zpočátku naprosto bezradná Elizabeth získává s show more pomocí týmu špičkových manažerů a právníků zkušenosti i sebevědomí a postupně se mění v suverénní podnikatelku.
